We are a friendly chess club with a growing membership, we welcome players of all ages and strengths.

Our membership ranges from the enthusiastic novice up to county strength players with grades ranging from 1000 to over 2200. We also have a small, but growing, number of juniors.

From September to July we hold club nights in the quieter upstairs Club Function room every Monday (except Bank Holidays) from 7:30pm for friendly games, club competitions and league matches.

Adult Members are required to join the hosting Tarring Club affording you the extra opportunity to meet friends, attend extra social events and play some friendly chess within the social club as well as use of the well stocked subsidised bar in the lounge.

Junior Chess :-

The Worthing Knights Junior Chess Club runs on Thursdays at the Durrington Community Centre and is run by John Hargreaves.
